What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us, plus the minimum our hosting needs to serve the site securely.

  • Data you submit in the offer or contact forms: your name, email address, phone number, country and any details or files you attach about your project.
  • Technical data your browser sends automatically: IP address, browser type, referring page and the pages you open. This is processed by our hosting provider in its server logs.
  • Cookies: see the Cookies section below.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

Under the GDPR we must have a lawful basis for every use of your data. Ours are:

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote — Art. 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To keep the site available, secure and free of abuse — Art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in operating the site.
  • To measure how the site is used, if and when we enable analytics — Art. 6(1)(a): your consent, which you give in the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data only as long as we need it to answer you and, if it leads to a project, for as long as our business relationship and legal record-keeping duties require.

Retention periods: [TO CONFIRM — how long enquiries are kept if they do not lead to a contract, and how long project records are kept afterwards].

Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted automatically.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and server logs.
  • [TO CONFIRM — the email service or CRM the website forms will deliver enquiries to].
  • Public authorities, where the law requires us to disclose data.

Transfers outside the EEA

Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., is established in the United States and may process technical data there. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with the provider's supplementary safeguards.

You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply by writing to info@ecobustas.lt.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. This site uses very few.

  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers the language you selected. Strictly necessary for the site to work in your language, so it needs no consent.
  • ekb_consent — stores your own cookie choice so we do not ask again. Kept for 182 days. This is the record of your consent, so it needs no consent itself.
  • Analytics cookies — not currently in use. If we add them, they will load only after you accept them in the banner.
  • YouTube — the product video is embedded in privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube does not set cookies until you actually play the video. Once you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy also applies.
  • Google Maps — the gallery page embeds a Google map of our built projects. It loads together with the page and Google may set its own cookies when it does. Google's own privacy policy applies to it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the following rights, free of charge:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
  • Have it corrected if it is wrong or incomplete.
  • Have it erased, where we no longer have grounds to keep it.
  • Restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interest.
  • Receive it in a portable, machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where our use is based on consent. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew it.

How to complain

Please write to us first at info@ecobustas.lt — we would rather fix a problem than have you take it elsewhere.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Lithuania this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, vdai.lrv.lt). If you live in another EEA country, you can also complain to your own national authority.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the site.
